This is Billy Redbear, from Tuscon Arizona, a one-year-old Australian Cattle Dog
who is very keen to work for his master, Mike Cochran. The two of them are quite
happy with their new whistle.

Happy to inform you that the whistle has arrived.
It came yesterday, and me and Sky has already tried it out. And I must say I´m impressed. It was great, I love it! And engraved with my name, as a final touch...

I also want to thank you for all your kind help and quick responses. I will surely recommend you and the Commander whistle here!

Thanks!

February 2005

My name is Jet (or Wainstalls Jet if you want to be posh) and I was born on the moors in West Yorkshire on a farm close by the ruins of the house where Emily Bronte set her novel, Wuthering Heights. I've come to live on Shipley Glen, a local beauty spot near Baildon in Yorkshire with my new 'owner', Mike. It's great here and I have loads of new pals who come to the Glen every day to play. When I'm playing with my best friends I pretended not to hear Mike calling me to 'here, here' or 'lie down' and that's why he bought his new whistle (and a matching tag for me which the rabbits can here jingling before I get anywhere near them!). He proudly showed me his new whistle but couldn't get a note from it at first and later all he managed were tiny mouse squeaks. He swore something must be wrong with it until his wife, Di, and daughter, Jaime, produced clear sounds in minutes! But, he's been practising and all of a sudden got the hang of it. Every time he whistles and I do what I am supposed to, I either get a treat or lots of praise so of course I answer the whistle. But when the treats stop I'll have to change tactics. I can hardly pretend I haven't heard him but I may just pretend I am not sure what he means and perhaps he'll start the treats again.

Thank you for the fast delivery of the Commander Whistles.
My two bitches love their pleasant sound.

The first photo shows Leah, born in April 2004.
The second one shows Ivi, born in July 2001.

Ivi is an undefatigable help with the daily work with the sheep and has
already taken part in sheepdog trials.
Leah has just started her training and looks very promising.

Please find attached a picture of Binky and Jasper, it would be great to see them on your site.

Binky is a 2.5 year old Collie tri-colour bitch, and Jasper is a 4 year old collie dog, which we rescued from Battersea dogs home when he was one.
They now both live with us just west of the Brecon Beacons in Wales.
We hope that they will be joined by a new puppy over the next few months
(although you made the name tag for Siâni over a year ago!)

'Saffron Layla Marden Jewel' continues to delight and is becomming quite ecentric - showering us with affection, games, cuddles and mischief - she's also progressing on the sheep front to. Has the rudiments of left and right when she want's to and just loves rounding the sheep up, tracking, stalking and holding them. She was very useful when I had to shed Danny the ram and uncouple his raddle (worn out needless to say) and she was great at keeping him stationary so I could get up close. (Kent UK)

The whistle arrived this morning thank you.
I have attached pictures of Dylan taken last weekend aged 12 weeks. We got him from a working farm in Cumbria and noticed that he responds to whistles (such as my Irish whistles and flutes) and so I thought I might give him a go with the Commander Whistle so your sound files will be of help.
Cheers
Mark

Dear Bryn,

Here is a picture of me wearing my new tag made by your master Geoff. My master has been trying out his new whistle and annnoying the neighbours. At least I can now hear when he wants me to come back although that doesn't mean I always do !

Regards,
Stella
