Thanks for the email
Please find attached a couple
of shots of "Tye" a tri-colour border collie about
18 months old.
We rescued him 5 months ago and
he has become a wonderful, calm natured,
hard working good friend!
We are ready to step up his training
now so the whistles will come in handy
for long distance commands.

Hi, my wife gave
me one of your whistles for Christmas.
I just thought you would like to know that after two weeks
of frustrating practice, I finally discovered how it works
earlier this evening! I'm already producing a variety of shrill,
ear-piercing whistles and the dogs are leaping all over the
place in response.
I was beginning to despair over my lack of progress, but suddenly
it happeded and now I think I'm going to become the most annoying
person of all time, because I just can't put the whistle down.
Tomorrow's early morning walk will be a lot of fun, because
the whistle will accompany us along the South Devon coastline
where we live and the sheep in the nearby fields will probably
have an anxious start to their day!
I have two Border Collies: Clooney (4 years old) and his son
Jake (2 years old) who are both pampered pets, rather than
working dogs, but they are both well trained and an absolute
joy to be with; and the new whistle will add a new dimension
to their training sessions!
For your interest, I've attached a Microsoft Word document
containing a recent photograph of my lovely boys whom I expect
will soon be reacting positively to my new commands as I perfect
my whistling technique.
Best wishes for 2009.

Hi Geoff
I received the whistle this morning - many thanks for the
very prompt service. I am pleased to say that I have already
made some whistle sounds which is amazing as I thought it
may take a lot longer to produce any noise at all after reading
one of the entries on "Your Page 2009". Funnily
enough one of the writer's dogs is also called Jake.
I am attaching a photo of my dog, Jake, keeping watch over
the fish in our pond!. He is almost 11 months old and between
my husband and I he is our seventh border collie. He has the
most wonderful temperament and, although going through his
adolescent stage, is responding very well to training. He
is a pet rather than a working dog and to keep his mind tested
I hope to do agility with him when he is over a year old.
Kind regards
Coralie

Here is a picture of Dewi our
trainee BC. He is 13 months old and had been in training for
about a month. He is locally born (Pembrokeshire Sheepdogs)
and will hopefully come to work our breeding flock of 200
Welsh Mountain ewes here on the RSPB reserve of Ramsey Island.
He is surely the most westerly sheepdog in Wales!
Thanks for all your help with purchasing the whistle and prompt
response to queries
best wishes

Hello,
Here is a photo of our Australian
Cattle Dog pack - puppies Rose, Ruby and Jake on the left,
Dazzle in front and Billy Redbear. Dazzle and Billy work sheep
and cattle in several trail venues, and the puppies are just
getting started with goats.
Thanks for producing such a nice
whistle. This is my second!
Best regards,
James

Think you so very much for the more-than-prompt
service!
My wife is sure to enjoy her new whistle and Anook, (our 1 year
old cattle dog) will enjoy the next phase of her training for the
big league!
I've attached a few photos or Kim and Anook working our Highland
Cattle and look forward to seeing them posted on your site.
Have a very Merry Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year!
